Rudolphs Restaurant at Sarasota Modern Hotel
One of the best hotels to stay at while exploring beautiful Sarasota County would be the brand new Sarasota Modern Boutique Hotel. The look of the hotel will take you back to classic Hollywood during the 70s, with beautiful sleek classic decor and a gorgeous pool area- you’ll never want to leave this paradise. They have an amazing onsite restaurant called Rudolph’s Restaurant. The menu is truly thought- provoking , colorful, fresh, and a full unique dining experience. The chef was the winner of Top Chef on Food Network, and helped to create many of the menu items.
A cool coastal neighborhood eatery, Tamiami Tap restaurant offers a unique colorful environment , a full bar menu and lunch menu. Tamiami is one of Sarasota’s newest restaurants. On select nights, the restaurant offers live musical performances. They also have vegetarian and vegan friendly food. Their veggie burger and impossible tacos were to die for- you won’t be able to tell that you are eating vegan!

They also have a wide variety of wines. Duvals even earned the Award of Excellence for their outstanding wine program from Wine Spectator’s 2019 Restaurant Awards.
Dry Dock Waterfront
Drg Dock is a must eat spot, not only for its casual dining and seafood, but for the awesome view of the water in Longboat Key. I love their hanging lights over their back seating area , creating a beautiful and romantic atmosphere.

They also have a wide variety of oysters freshly prepared. This is a must eat place, as Veronica’s is known as one of the top eateries in Sarasota.
Owen’s Fish Camp
Owens brings fresh fish from the Bay daily. This seafood spot is accompanied by a southern cuisine twist. They also have a great craft beer and wine selection. The atmosphere will give you that old Florida classic feeling , with a looming Banyan tree in the front.
One of my favorite Latin Fusion restaurant in Sarasota is definitely Selva Grill. They showcase a lot of Peruvian dishes . Each dish looks like a beautiful work of art, you will be amazed! And their empanadas are to die for. Add Selva to your list.
Nancys BBQ has some of the most authentic BBQ in the city. Nancy’s secret recipe brings classic flavors from North Carolina .
